Visit primary health centre to interact with doctors and study measures being taken on various health schemes for reducing maternal and infant mortality; malaria eradication; family planning; vaccination; etc

Village visits to see primary schools, rural sanitation, crop cultivation, infrastructure development, energy usage, environment conversation, etc - and spend time with members of various communities.
Visit National Dairy Research Institute or village dairies to study the milk cooperative movement.

Visiting students could conduct a skill development course of their choice at the KVK – which will promote the course beforehand to ensure participation.
Guest lectures – on issues of interest to the visiting group.
We will also provide logistical support – from booking hotels to organising transport, sight-seeing, yoga and Hindi lessons.
Spear-heading and personally conducting the International Relations Programme will be Mr. Akhil Bakshi – who has 38 years of experience in the management of rural development programmes. An MBA from University of Washington, Seattle; BBA from University of San Francisco; and with diploma in Industrial Management from Dusseldorf, Germany, he has worked both at the grassroots and the highest policy-making levels – serving two Prime Ministers. Cost : Depending on the tour content, the final expenditure will be determined. Approximate cost while at KVK Ambala would be US$ 80 per day per student. This includes lodging, three meals a day with packed lunch, local transport, morning yoga, stipends for guest lectures and interactions, and other organizational expenses. Transfer from and to Delhi Airport and hotel stay in Delhi, if required, would be an additional cost.
